the piston should go back into the caliper, if not, then it sounds like the piston has froze. when this happens, there are times a person has to replace the caliper, if piston can not be pushed inward

froze. It moved a couple times then would freeze again. what could be wrong with it? Handbrake mechanism, brake caliper or brake piston could be partially siezed or possibly rear wheel bearing siezed.

piston caliper on a nissan 300zx? there is 2 ways, one way you keep the old pad on and use a clamp to push it in and some calipers you have to buy a tool at the part store and you screw the pistons in
