Epson Perfection 3490 PHOTO Flatbed Scanner "90" Questions

When scanning slides, the scanner crops the top and bottom of the picture. why is this? Try switching slide position in slide holder. A 90 degree turn might help.

I have a 3490 scanner but have lost the neg holder to scan negs. Can anyone supply the carrier or suggest how I can scann negs without useing a neg holder. i will be happy to pay for a carrier. thanks
