Sounds like a worn selector fork, motor has to be pulled apart for repair,,if you continue to ride like this it will also wear out the teeth on the gears

1999 dodge ram 1500 5.2 liter, auto, 2 wheel Trans ran perfectly ...then stopped shifting from second to third. wouldn't change gears, even manually. i checked all connections into trans, checked trans...

1999 dodge 1500 5.2 will not shift to second once the engine reaches normal temperture or I shift from drive to nutural and back to drive then it will work fine untill the next time I stop. filter, fluid, shift slenoid, governor sensor have been replaced.

My Honda cr250 wont shift from second to third. I pull up on the shifter and it wont let me. it goes into first second and neutral just fine?????

hopefully the simple fix is the gear stick is bent or adjusted high and hitting the case or something, apart from that the right hand side cover has to come off and check the selecter, if thats ok it may be internal gear problem

WHEN IN SECOND , IT FEELS LIKE IT GOES IN AND OUT OF GEAR

Bent shifter levers or a cause most mechanics miss, chain is jumping over rear sprocket.

Kick starter does not turn over the motor

Hi,
There is a gear mecanism that operates the kick starter.
Atteached to this is a stop lock. This is most likely your nemisis. Chances that the gear has brocken are slim.

Cheers

Where do you put in the gear oil?

Assumption-  you have a manual transmission; (The gear oil part is throwing me). First guess.  Your clutch is absolutely shot.  It will not make a 'loose' sound, but when you release the clutch in any gear including reverse, you get no (or almost no) motion.  Without more information, this is the most likely possibility.
Solution is to get the car towed in and have the clutch replaced.
Second guess (less likely): There is something broken in the transmission which will require a trip to th e shop. Third possibility: Something bad has happened to one of your axle shafts to disconnect it from the transmission or wheel. Mybe a brooken drive shaft.  very rare. Hope this helps.

Seat bouncing. does it really work?

You bike has plenty power for seat bouncing in fact under certain conditions you can seat bounce with the throttle completely off. Ok so to start don't try it on your double find a little bump or hill that you can catch some minor air on in first gear, that doesn't have too steep of a face. Use first gear, get your rpms right in the best power range, as you approach the bump stay seated right in the middle, right when you hit the face pin it wide open, the bike will throw you off the seat and you'll catch air. Now this part might seem weird, but the farther back you sit the more forward it'll throw ya in the air and sitting more forward throws you straight up and the bike gets nose high. Practice your way up through the higher gears. Experiment have fun and BE CAREFUL! ,,,
