My bike is currently will not idle and bogs at a low rpm then once it gets to about 3,000rpm its clears out. it seems to be burning a lot of oil ccause its smokes extremley bad.i recently got a jet kit and intakes proffessionally installed and was told that i may have oil on the top of my pistons which could be caused by bad valve guide seals but i dont kno if thats the problem or not please help.
Try adjusting the jets a little leaner in the carb. But if that is not helping then yes its the valve that is bad and needs replacement.
And for idle problem check the throttle valve and its adjustment.the bike won't idle for 2 reasons. either the idle is not adjusted. or the idle components are missing from the carb. there is a secondary shaft that slides in from the bottom of the throttle. up through the throttle, and throught the carb cap where there is a hollow screw. there is a very small cotter pin that goes through the top of the shaft. that cotter pin sits inside the hollow screw. by adjusting the screw out. your taking the screw up along with the shaft. thus pulling up the throttle. this secondary shaft i am talking about is the basically the same thing as the needle jet. only thicker. in other words you have two needles which run throught the throttle. one is your needle jet. the other is part of your idle assembly.

i just got the bike proffesionaly services and they saod that they tuned it to the best of there ability, they had the carbs off 5 or 6 times till they found the right jetting so i dunt thin its that. will a bad valve or valve guide seal cause the bike to smoke, power loss, and to bog at a low rpm is it a carb issue. i doubt its the carbs cause they were jus rebuilt and tuned. i was told that there was oil at the top of my engine is that another cause of a bad valve or valve guide seal?
Yes a bad valve or valve guide seal can cause the bike to smoke, power loss, and to bog at a low rpm.
as the pressure will be released due to faulty valve and due to that it will bog down.
Quite possible. But get it checked and confirmed.
