Need Drivers I purchased an InFocus LitePro 570 LS Projector 2nd hand. I have the VGA plugged into my laptop, but still don't get an image - just the light projected. Do I need drivers for my PC to get this older model to work? Thanks, Jess

Hi Jess

Is your PC's image splitt ?

Right click on your desktop and go to properties - then click on settings and then advanced settings.

You'll see a block with two screens on it. If only one is activated - activate the secondary screen as well.

If you are using a Notebook also try holding in the Fn ( Function ) button - just left of your spacebar and in your F-row buttons at the top there should be one with two screens on it - Differs from brand to brand of PC's.

Hope this helps you !

Infocus lp425z projector pushes latop display to left quarter of output image

Usually this is a hardware acceleration setting problem on the 'advanced' properties setting in your 'screen resolution' properties on your computer. Re-set the hardware acceleration to the 2nd setting and this should fix your issue. We have this regularly when we project on a double projector system and the one projector keeps shifting everything left until we adjust the hardware acceleration settings on the computer. No more issue.

I own an InFocus Litepro 570LS. The projector light bulb blinks on and off.....I do not know how many hours are on the buld and the spare buld is burned out....what is a possible fix.

Given that the bulb actually lights up and then goes out you need to check the contacts at the base of the socket to ensure proper contact is consistently made at the base of the bulb. Be sure to unplug the projector prior to inspecting and adjusting.

Have an infocus litepro 580, lamp and speakers works fine. Projector will only show the "infocus systems" opening display without changing to my video source. All cables are correctly in,...

Go into the settings menu of the projector and turn off the auto source function, then select the input that you are using.

if using a laptop you may have to simultaneously press your FN and relevant 'F' key to send the signal out to the projector. The 'F' key usually has an image of two side by side monitors or it says LCD/CRT. Wait a few seconds each time for the signal to be sent to the projector. Sometimes you may have to repeat this action 3 times to get the image on both your laptop and your projector.

good luck

Do they make brighter bulbs for the LitePro 580 projector

Nope. You can NOT increase brightness of a projector by installing a brighter lamp. Sorry. The only option is replacing the projector with a brighter model.

Multi-media projection without image

A great deal of the time DVD players are very restrictive on outputting to multiple sources due to copyright protection. In my experience, if you use your laptops function keys to toggle output (For example, on my laptop, I hit FUNCTION + F4 to cycle between LCD,LCD+VGA,VGA), you should be able to disable the laptop's LCD display, only outputting via the VGA cable. It's worked for me with my HP VP6111 and Windows XP in the past. Hope this helps!
