The plugs have no need for Never Seize. In 45 years of bike repair I have never seen a plug fail to come out. Also, I would be concerned about any problems the compound may create being exposed to pressure and extreme heat. Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?

Need to replace sparkplugs on 2002 ford escape

well replace spark plugs is not a hard job, when replacing spark plugs, good time to replace plug wires also.you need to replace one spark plug at a time so you wont mix up firing order. you need a spark socket, torque wrench, 3/8 ratchet wrench, 3/8 short and long extensions, you need a spark plug gap gauge.spark plug gap for 2.0 engine 0.051 the 3.0 engine spark plug gap is 0.052 - 0.056. just follow spark plug wires they will lead you to the spark plugs.warning wait until engine cool down first because removing spark plugs from hot engine could damaged the aluminum heads, use compressed to blow away debris before removing spark plugs keep debris falling into the cylinders.wear safety glasses if you use compress air and use small amount anti seize compound to the spark plug threads.good idea slip a short length rubber hose over the end of spark plug to use as a tool thread it into place.reason i use piece vacuum hose it will grip the spark plug enough to turn it, but will start to slip if the plug begin to cross thread.when installing spark plug, it should turn at least few times if spark plug start tighten before 1/4 turn thread cross threading need to back off start over dont keep turning you will stripped spark plugs threads in the head also damage spark plug threads, so be careful, good luck with job.

Spark plugs need changeing what type are best

Stock plug is NGK CR9E, but Denso Irridium IU27 is best. Cost more but better economy and starting.
Any manufacturer will have the equivalent NGK plug for your bike on their chart, with two or three types for your preferred riding style.
Cheers.

MY KAWI ZZR 1200 WAS RUNNING GREAT ON SATURDAY. PARKED AFTER A SHORT RIDE, COLD SUNDAY NIGHT, STARTED MONDAY. HEAVY FUEL MIX ON START WITH NO CHOKE, LOADED UP AND HAS NOT RUN SMOOTH SINCE. NO POWER AND...

Heavy fuel mix is either blocked air filter or bad spark plugs, check condition of both, if nothing obvious then change spark plugs as they can appear fine but still be U/S, if problem still persists then you'll have to investigate further.

Replacing spark plugs on a 2004 chevy malibu

2.2L Engine
  1. Observe the following service precautions:

Allow the engine to cool before removing the spark plugs. Attempting to remove spark plugs from a hot engine can cause the spark plugs to seize. This can damage the cylinder head threads. Clean the spark plug recess area before removing the spark plug. Failure to do so can result in engine damage due to dirt or foreign material entering the cylinder head, or in contamination of the cylinder head threads. Contaminated threads may prevent proper seating of the new spark plug. Use only the spark plugs specified for use in the vehicle. Do not install spark plugs that are either hotter or colder than those specified for the vehicle. Installing spark plugs of another type can severely damage the engine.
  2. Turn the ignition OFF .
  3. Disconnect the Electronic Ignition (EI) module harness connector.
  4. Remove the spark plugs using a 5 / 8 inch spark plug socket.

To install:

WARNING Do not coat spark plug threads with anti-seize compound. If anti-seize compound is used and spark plugs are over-torqued, damage to the cylinder head threads may result.
  1. Inspect the gap on the new spark plugs, re-gap the plugs as required. The spark plug gap specification is 42 inch. (1.0 mm).
  2. Install the spark plugs and tighten to 15 ft. lbs. (20 Nm).
  3. Apply dielectric compound to the spark plug boots and make sure no corrosion is present.
  4. Install the ignition coil housing to cam cover and attachment bolts.
  5. Tighten the ignition coil housing bolts to 89 inch. lbs. (10 Nm).
  6. Connect the EI module harness connector. Push in until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
