It could be either the alternator is not working or the ignition switch is bad or the starter or all three then could be bad. A mechanic could look at your car and see what the problem is.

My Chevy Malibu Maxx is a 2004 and I think it might be a fuse because everything comes on in a car but it won't start what fuse do you think that is.and my mechanic was messing around with it and now my radio said it's locked what do you think that is
Is the vehicle security light lit ? It could be a fuse or the starter relay , or even the ignition switch , or even the PNP - park neutral position switch . This is a complex electronic starting system , computer controlled . The ignition switch is a low voltage input to the the BCM - body control module . When the BCM receives this input to crank the engine a lot of complex commands are sent over the serial data network to the PCM to enegrize the starter relay , there by sending battery voltage to the S terminal on the starter solenoid . If your mechanic disconnected the battery it could have caused the radio to say locked , you need a code to enter into the radio to unlock it , may need to have the dealer hook up their factory scan tool to do that .
Your best bet , find a better automotive technician , not a mechanic.
Circuit Description (Key Start)
For ignition switch power modes refer to Body Control System Description and Operation in Computer/Integrating Systems. Once the ignition is placed in the Run/Crank position, the control circuit of the Run/Crank relay is grounded by the body control module (BCM). With the Run/Crank relay switch closed, battery positive voltage flows through it and on to the park/neutral position (PNP) switch. With the PNP switch in either the Park or Neutral position, battery positive voltage will flow to the starter relay coil supply voltage input terminal of the powertrain control module and the coil side of the starter relay. Placing the ignition in the START position sends a message to the powertrain control module (PCM) requesting engine start. If the PCM has determined that the transmission is in Park or Neutral and theft is not active, it will ground the control circuit of the starter relay. Battery positive voltage will then flow through the switch side of the starter relay to the S terminal of the starter solenoid, cranking the engine.
Can't open 2004 malibu trunk, the release button just click. the key want open it. can't pull backseat down to get to trunk. how do I replace the release switch
Can you remove the hold down bolts or nuts that hold the seat to the floor, then move the whole seat to get a look behind the seat? I'd have to look to see if there is access to the trunk, behind the seat. Just a thought.
In the past I have had locks, where I broke the key off in the lock, not automotive. I drilled out the key cylinder to get it open. I don't want to cause more problems than you already have? If you drill out the key cylinder, I don't know if the trunk will open? If so, then maybe you could replace key cylinder after you fix everything. You could call locksmith, see if they can get it open? Don't try anything if your not comfortable with the procedure. good luck.
Where is fuse in fuse box on chevy malibu 2004
There are 2 fuse panels in car, 1 under hood and the second under drivers side of dash, above hood release area. Radio fuse should be under dash, most likely a blue(15amp) fuse. The fuse panel glossery should be on inside cover of fuse panel or in owners manual under fuses in glossery.

2004 Malibu Classic 2.2L died and won't start
You need 3 basic principles for your vehicle to start fuel/air, timing and spark. You stated it seems like there is no ignition at all. First, I would pull the easiest spark plug attach the plug wire and set it on the manifold and have someone crank your vehicle with you watching the plug to check for a spark you should have a white/blue spark which denotes a high voltage. Next i'd check for fuel pressure, if you have both i would get a obd (on board diagnostic)scanner and check for trouble codes with koeo (key on engine off) if that doesn't produce any codes check your fuses and most importantly if your oil level on the dipstick was dry its going somewhere whether its a leaking gasket a crack in the engine or blow by figure out where
Where do I check the transmission fluid at on a 2004 Chevy Malibu Classic

Start the engine and allow the engine to idle until the transmission fluid temperature has reached the value specified.
Depress the brake pedal and move the shift lever through the gear ranges, pausing a few seconds in each range. Return the shift lever to the PARK range.
Notice: Refer to Transmission Fluid Vent Cap Removal Notice in the Preface section.
Remove the fluid vent cap (only 2004 Z body Malibu models).
Raise the vehicle on a hoist. The vehicle must be level, with the engine running and the shift lever in the PARK range. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Caution: The engine must be running when the transmission fluid fill plug is removed, or excessive fluid loss will occur. Transmission fluid may be hot. Since the actual fluid level is unknown, stand clear when removing the fill plug. Have a container ready to capture any lost fluid. Do not turn the engine off with the fill plug removed, as you can be injured by hot transmission fluid being expelled out of the oil fill opening.
Remove the transmission oil level control plug (65). See drawing above.
Where is cruise control fuse located on 2004 Chevy malibu

Tire pressure
Seance the car manufactures most likely did not produce the tires that are on the vehicle they will only give there recommendations as to the correct tire pressure. Always look around the perimeter of the tire and it will tell you the proper pressure for that tire. hope this helps. Good luck.
