Try these things to see if you can find the problem.

  • Is it a new tyre? Get the tyre AND rim checked to see if it has been balanced correctly.
  • Put the scooter on it's centre stand and tilt it so the back wheel is off the ground.
  • With the engine OFF spin the back wheel by hand. Watch the outside edge of the wheel rim to see if the rim is damaged, bent or warped.
  • Hold the wheel at the front and back. Try to twist the wheel left and right to see if it is loose on the axle.
  • Check your tyre pressure. Now look at the whole tyre very carefully. You are looking for ANY damage to the tyre.
  • Again spin the wheel and watch the Tyre to see if it rolls straight. Look at it from the back and from the side to see if it wobbles.

SOURCE: 25mph to 50 mph tire wobble

It could be a couple of things the tires could be out of balance and need rebalanced on the machine or it could of lost a weight from either the inside of rim or outside wherever your weights are located.

No this is not normal. I had to go through 2 different times having a tire balanced once to get a wobble out.

SOURCE: How to fix gas leak on a Yamaha '92 SH50D

If the leak is at the carb ( as opposed to at the tank ), a plugged fuel line is not the problem. Chances are the float is stuck open. Clean the carb. Remove the float bowl and then spray carb cleaner in all the little holes and jets.

Taotao ATE 501 electric scooter no power to the motor

Sounds like the Hall wire are mixed up. Try reconecting the hall wires to the correct wire and it will run excellent. I have the same scooter and that is what was wrong.
