Hi I have a 650 Suzuki burgman engine runs but no drive to rear wheel . diagnostic shows cvt electric motor fault . would this stop the wheel turning under power .

F1 FAULT, HAVE YOU WIRED IT FOR THE CODE, F1 IS SAYING TO CHECK THE CODES, NEED TO BRIDGE THE WHITE 4 HOLE CONNECTOR USUALLY UNDER SEAT

Was it running when you tried to back it up? I do NOT have any experience with this bike or this CVT propulsion however, the old SIMPLEX AUTOMATIC used a less sophisticated design.

There is a reinforced belt that slips when stopped or backing up but it always drags to some extent just much less if the motor is NOT running.

you have a lose electrical conection. Maybe a lose wire on your ignition barrel.

You have a CVT transmission. If you came from a motorcycle background you'll have to re-learn throttle control on a scooter, they slow down a lot faster than a manual transmission motorcycle. Just don't chop your throttle when slowing down and you'll find more control....Good Luck
