Where can I find an engine compartment diagram

Okay, I'll give you a link to free wiring diagrams for every make and model. You can see the whole wiring layout for your particular car. Some of all wiring diagrams may include a page or two with a pictured layout of where the electrical parts being diagrammed are located, on the engine or in the engine compartment. You may identify those pages by the words "engcompartment" or compartment in the heading for a particular subset of wiring diagrams. I hope I'm not confusing you...Since you have your head in the engine compartment, anyway, look at it like this: every vehicle has several major electrical harnesses, one of the largest is the engine harness. It may start out from near the battery or near the firewall as a very large bundle. If you can follow how it lays out on the engine or on the whole powertrain, it may help you find the wires in question. Most of the wires, if not all, on the engine and transaxle will be part of that engine harness. And every sensor or controller will have a connector to the harness.

Is the vehicle able to move ? if so i'd take to a dealer who has the same model and have a look too see the undamaged wires etc as you would be better off with a new loom than trying to repair the wires if it is only at the peripheral end of the electrical system
