I have connected my GPS device to cigarette lighter socket in my 2002 corolla. It was working fine. Bit when I tried to remove the GPS device the socket came out with the GPS. I inserted the socket back in position , but there is no power i am getting from this.
You probably pulled the wiring plug off the back of the socket. Or the fuse went when the socket came out.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
The cigarette lighter and radio fuse will be underneath the dash on the driver's side. Once you pulled the cover, there will be a diagram that indicates what fuse is for the cigarette and radio. Mostly the two are powered with one fuse.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
