Fit a 94 ignition in a 97 nsr 125

Hi there,
i have to replace my ignition but the cheapest one i could find was for £20.00 and it was from a 1994 model and i have a 1997 model witch wil cost me £55.
i was wondering if any one ould tell me if it would fit into my 97 even though its a 94
