SOURCE: Hi- I've got a Danby ddw1899bls

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

I understand by reading your post which indicates it is a Danby dishwasher you appear to have a error E1 concern.

On the Danby built dishwashers the E1 indicates a water filling fault...usually because it isn't filling properly or at all.

**unplug the unit or turn off the circuit breaker (mains) before performing any repairs or service...safety first**

Check to make sure the water supply is turned "on", if so...the inlet valve is likely plugged with mineral deposit or faulty and needing to be changed. You can fist turn the water off, unhook the supply line and make sure the screen is clear, if it is and it is being energized (you should hear a slight buzz) that indicates a bad vlave.
Let me know if you require further assistance. I'll watch for your reply and try and help going forward. Good luck and thank you for choosing FixYa.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

Hi, my LCD Polaroid FLM-3701 went through a power outage and now doesn't get power any more. The power led doesn't show any light. I saw a capacitor repair kit available, and four 680 uF capac

The power supply fuse should be next the the ac input plug on the power supply. It should be a long cylinder type fuse, probably a T6.3AH/250V. You will want to replace those caps ASAP

Can't turn on TV

hi there,

if the fuses are the main problem try first checking the chord by turning it on and off without plugging it. to test if there is a conduction and or a current. bring a tester with you. if you know how to test a voltage might be well so easy. just first look in the specifications located behind your Television check if its using ohms or voltage just follow the diagram. to prevent electric shock.

secondly try to locate the power supply or the transformer on the TV board then test it with out plugging. and locate for the fuses and test it first before you replace any of it. (make sure if you replace any of the components from your Tv board fits the same spec.

if still the problem persist: it might as well be a board problem. check if there are evidence of burned ic's or resistors. if you are not capable of doing this all my suggestion will be Go to the expert to fix it for you...

I need to know what fuse is for the power side mirrors for a pontiac aztek

Without knowing the year of your Aztek, I can only take a stab with what I know about the 2001.
This vehicle has two fuse & relay centers, the first one is located in the engine compartment, on top of the windshield washer fluid reservoir (you don't want this one for the problem you described).
The second one is located inside the passenger area of the vehicle, behind the center console, to the right of the gear shift lever.
Locate the removable access panel and give it a good yank to expose the fuse panel.
3_27_2012_7_05_49_pm.gifNow locate and check the fuses in slots # 16 and 17 (one of these should be your culprit).
See diagram below.3_27_2012_7_14_38_pm.gif
After you have replaced the fuse (with a fuse of the same amperage) place the access panel onto the opening and give it a whack with the **** of you fist or a rubber mallet.

I hope this helps,Danno

Power windows and sunroof stopped working

Hi!

The problem is most likely a fuse that must be replaced

The fuses for powerwindows are located inside the car, under the steering.

Start to count the fuses from top-left, usualy it's first fuse and the fuse no. 6
Replace only by same rating fuses.

Please let me know if it helped.

Best regards

I have a 2008 gmc acacia. The front and mid auxiliary power outlets don't work. The fuse box is on a horrible location. I can't figure out which fuse it is and I don't want to spend hours...

{: ) At the underhood fuseblock, the AUX PWR fuse 20amps is for the Instrument panel and center console outlets, while the RR APO fuse 20amps is for the rear console and rear power outlets.
If your vehicle is equipped with an accessory 110vac, there is this PWR OUTLET fuse 25amps also at the underhood fuseblock. See red arrows on the sample diagram below:

wyet_helps_12.gif Safety reminders: Use only fuses of the same specifications. A higher fuse rating replacement can heat the wirings and could cause fire.

Where is the power distrubution center located, not the fuse box

The power distribution center IS a fuse and relay box. It is located in the left side of the engine compartment.

I don't know what you are trying to fix, but reviewing this article might be helpful:

Where's The Fuse?

Need to know fuse location for ac on 2000 ford expedition

This is kind of an open question because I don't know if your fan (blower motor) is not coming on or if the fan is working and it's just not cold which means the A/C compressor clutch isn't engaging. I am giving you the most common and that is the compressor. In your power distribution box located in the engine compartment (see picture of location below) is the A/C cltch fuse and the A/C cltuch relay itself. The A/C clutch fuse is located in the number 13 position and should be a 15 amp fuse (see other picture below for layout of fuse panel). then in that same box in the number 204 position is the A/C clutch relay itself. If it's the fan not blowing there are many possible fuses for it and like I said i wasn't sure what you meant by A/C fuse. All of this should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy, you can email me at [email protected] with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. Or if you just want to know where those other fuses for the fan are you acn email me as well. I hope this helps and good luck.
