I have a 2000 Jimmy and I have a Crazy sound in the right front that sounds alot like a tire rubbing a mudflap and a gear sound. I can stop and back up about 20 ft and it corrects the problem for about 50 miles , then it starts again.... when you let off accelorator it winds down like an old fire truck siren

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome Amanda. Your tire might be hitting the front corner of the fender when you are turning. Your rim could be bent also or a bad tire. It could also be your brake shoes rubbing the rotor. They may have come loose, need adjusted, or need changed. If they need changed, you usually will hear high pitch squealing. You could also have a bad caliper.
It sounds like pads against the rotors. Does it get louder or stop when applying the brakes?May be a stone or maybe just rust or maybe you need brakes looked at.
It sounds like a bad bearing on the right side hub. you can check this by raising the front of the car till the tires are off the grond. Grab the tire and try to wiggle it up and down and front to back if there is any play replace the bearing. check both sides
YOU WILL NEED TO DISABLE THE AIR BAG AND REMOVE THE STEERING WHEEL.THEN YOU WILL SEE THE WIRE OR WIRES THAT HAVE RUBBED UNTIL THE BARE WIRE IS GROUNDING OUT ON SOMETHING INSIDE.
