AC is blowing but not coming out the vents

My AC fan is blowing hard but it won't blow out of the vents.
I can put the controller and the temp control on high and it blows out the defroster. When I put the control on the bilevel it blows out the vents buts shuts off completely when I accelerate.I live in Texas and really need to work properly. I am thinking it might have something to do with the routing hoses but I don't have a diagram of the route. Any help or suggestion would make me happy.....and cooler. Thanks

AC IS WORKING BUT NOT BLOWING HARD OUT OF VENTS AND CAN HERE FAN BLOWING HARD

Do you have an AC pollen and dust filter? If so it is likely plugged and no air flow is getting through. Another cause of this is that the AC condenser core inside the dash is plugged with dirt and leaf matter (cars without any filter) I really need the make, model, year to be more precise.

What is the problem? How do I fix it? Resistor Pack? Fan Control? Entire AC system?

your problem could be in your control switch panel itself. pull out the control panel and check the connections with a Probe Light Tester. The following video is for a Volvo but is used here only to give you an understanding of how to remove your A/C Control unit to check for poor circuitry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmCKFx1B4cA

What causes the ac to blow cold in the rear but warm air in the front?

These vehicles came with 2 types of ac controls.
The vacuum control system uses vacuum to actuate the vents and ducting from hot to cold. A lot of times the HVAC vacuum line in the engine bay (black hard plastic) is either broken or disconnected from its vacuum source.
The electronic vent control: does everything at the control knob via vent actuators and the control panel itself. With this one it could be any of the components. You would have to locate them and verify operation by moving temp/vent selector.

I drive a 2004 silverado 1500 and the 10A fuse keeps blowing for the vent selector. It'll get stuck on one mode. (Either defrost, or feet, or something). It on its third fuse in a month. The AC works...

Sounds like a bad actuator, the actuator is a small motor used to control a door in the heater box, there are a few doors to control temp of air and then one for mode (location of air blowing out ) and one for recir. try to locate and unplug it and replace the fuse and see if that stops the fuse from popping if it does then replace the actuator.
