How do i gain access to the blower heater unit in the NEW SHAPE nissan micra? I need to change the resistor on the blower as it is only working on level four. The internet is full of solutions to fixing this on the OLD model.(under the glove compartment passenger side) but there is no advise i can find on the internet in regards to fixing the new shape micra (after 2003) except to bring the car to a nissan dealer. Is this a huge job (pulling panels off everywhere just to access one small part?
Hi did you get the resistor fixed if not you need to remove the glove box by removing the screws that can be seen then there are two plastic lugs that need to be pulled out sideways to enable you to remove the glove box then you will see the resistor card on the side of the motor thats on the new shape micra k12
