recently changed transmission fluid, since the fluid change, the transmission will disengage when engine is cold (ie rpm goes up, but no drive/power to wheels). Changed about two litres of the fluid in the change, have been told it would be closer to 4 litres for a full overhaul. H23A engine, in 1999 Accord Wagon (JDM).

91 honda accord between 50 and 55 it feels like the transmission shifts up and down conststantly but the rpm only moves from 2100 rpm to 2000 rpm but over or under that speed it runs fine.

Your transmission is probably jumping in and out of "torque converter lockup". The lockup is the most efficient mode because 100% of the power from the engine goes to the wheels and is not lost in the torque converter. It only goes into lockup at higher speeds, but will jump out if the computer senses it needs more power (at the higher engine RPMs) to maintain or increase your speed. I recommend either going faster or slower if this is bothering you. :-)

I have 98 honda accord, engine light, rpm goes down

check the speed sensor,if the computer doesn't know the speed it does not know how fast you are going ,so you won;t have peak performance

1992 Honda Accord EX 4 cylinder automatic [engine RPM change]

Hi!

It seems to be clutch problem.

There is a way to slightly adjust the idle,on the front of the throttle body where the intake boot is bolted on,abovt the boot and slightly to the left you will see a hole about 1/2 inch wide and it is plugged with grey epoxy like material. Using a flat head screw driver scrape the epoxy out of the hole and there is a flathead adjustment screw. You can adjust the idle up and down just a few hundred rpm. Hope this helps and let me know if there is any more direction you need.
Please rate this solution.

Thanks
