2002 VW Jetta... I almost ran out of gas... Made it to gas station , but my car started running rough... I put gas in car and it still idels rough

I had the same problem, it ended up being a fuel level sensor, if you run the car at low fuel level numerous times it goes bad. I had it replaced and runs great.

the fuel system needs to have the air bled out!
Crank it over & release injectors pipes one at a time so it can pump fuel through
[ just enough like a leak ]
this will bleed out all the air!

I THINK ITS THE FUEL PUMP.

It is the fuel pump, or either a MAP, or MAF sensor. If the check engine light is not on, put a fuel pressure gauge on it, and see if it drops under a load. If so, bad pump.

2004 VW Jetta won't start

the simple reason for it with your fuel supply system it might have choke-up, check the fuel filter for supply, check for electriacl problem, check for ECU problem, in case for much problem you can reach trouble free to nearest authorised VW, SKODA, AUDI, dealer or service centre to sort out the problem you are facing so friend see you soon......!

Remove one of the spark plugs and see if it is wet with gas.

Car ran out of gas

When your car runs out of gas things like this happen it should always have reserved gas at least 2 liters...
