You have to drain the oil, remove the oil pan, remove the two 1/2inch bolts that hold the oil pump to the block and one nut that holds the pick up tube then reinstall the new one, put new oil pan gasket on and reinstall the pan. It can be done inside the van but will not be easy.

Oil leak around oil pump

Oli pump is inside oil pan mounts to block replace gasket if this is what you are talking about--might be worth replacing pump at same time while you are in there, not too expensive.

Hope this helps.

I got an oli change the other day and the look

The oil is white because water from the cooling is mixed with it. Stop using the car immediately and fix it (most likely a blown head gasket) or you will destroy your engine in a hurry.

Car wont start i canged mulitble this like plugs oli fuel filtters but it just wont start

Could be the fuel pump?? Or the ECU. check the fuses and see if there are any bad fuses and check the relay to your fuel pump to rule out that it is a bad pump. Good luck

1993 BMW 42m Tapping in Engine

sounds like a weak oil pump, but that could be indicative of a worn engine, i would replace the oli pump first to rule it out.

Noise engine

replace oil filter bypass (the boss that the oil filter screws to)... other than that ..oil pump failing...main bearings out of spec not allowing oil to stay under pressure and reach the upper valve train...good luck
