SOURCE: 04 chev. 1500 fuel tank will not take gas, gas

Evap vent solenoide is stuck closed. Start by replacing the valve and checking the hose to the valve for clogs...this is located between the cab of the truck and the bed of the truck on the driver side (can be seen if you look down through the crack)....If this doesn't work then check the fuel filler neck hose for kink or restriction this is the hose that goes from the gas cap to the fuel tank.

SOURCE: Filling my gas tank the pump keeps shutting off

Its a fact the pump will kick off on some makes especially trucks. here is a hint. When filling up insert the nozzle fully and then pull it back one inch. This way it will not stop or splash back at you which some pumps do

Why does the gas pump keep clicking off while putting gas in my car

some pumps have more pressure than others, too much flow will restrict the flow shutting off the pump nozzle works on flow as car gets full it makes pressure to the nozzle and shuts it off

Every time i try to but gas into my car the pump keeps shutting off eveyr to seconds.I ws wondering y this happens

The pump is shutting off because of back pressure. There are usually two lines going to the fuel pipe. The big pipe that the gas goes down and a smaller vent pipe that the air that is being displaced in the tank comes up. If this is blocked or is not working correctly , enough pressure can build up to shut off the nozzle of the gas pump. The gas nozzle thinks your tank is full.

Can't get gas into my 2002 Hyundai Accent.

The reason the gas station pump shuts off is when the fuel reaches the tip of the gas nozzle, so when you are filling your car and the gas nozzle (gas stations pipe) keeps shutting off it means that the pipe that runs to the gas tank is not open completely, what happens is when you pump the gas in the car the supply pipe from the gas tank opening to the tank fills up quickly and this causes the gas station pipe nozzle to shut off, have some body take down the gas tank and have a look at the gas tank opening and also gas supply pipe that runs from the gas filler opening ( on the car body) to the gas tank. Have a look at it and please don't forget to rate the answer if it was helpful, thanks!
