Your owners manual will have the location of the fuse panel along with a diagram of fuse locations within the panel. Look up fuse panel in the index.

Possibly but more likely you've disturbed the wiring and it is now causing a short circuit

Cigarette lighter on 2004 Grand Prix isn't working.

The lighter socket or the element.
Check the element for burn marks and the socket for debris blocking the contacts.

Cigarette lighters will not work on my 2006 Buick LaCrosse, what is there is no fuse listed as lighter, cigarette. So what is the fuse that powers both adapters?

check all the fuses underneath on the left side of your brake pedal but there should be a box that has a black cover to it and underneath this might show the fuses. Check also in the engine fuses to see if any are bad also.

My cigarette lighter and power adapter quit working and need another. Where can I find one?

First check the fuse for your lighter. It will show you the location of your fuse box and lighter fuse in your cars owners manual.

Son plugged ac/dc adapter into accessory plug and it sparked and afterwards cigarette lighter and accessory plug does not work anymore. Thinking maybe fuse but don't have manual to know where fuses are....

I always use a test light and check them all. Usly faster then looking up which fuse it is. Here is a diagram of fuse block anyhow. CIG stands for cigarette lighter.08b0868.png

Cigarette lighter doesn't work. Need to know where the fuse is

If the cigarette lighter does not stick when you push the lighter in then this is the step to take. The prongs inside the lighter adapter have been pushed too far out. ( This happens if you plug other electronics like satellite radio or radar detectors) First, you MUST take out the fuse from the fuse box located under in the glove box. Second, look inside the lighter adapter (not the lighter) you will see two prongs that are supposed to be flared a bit inward. Simply get a small flat head screwdriver and pick the prongs outward but not too much. Do test trials with the lighter to ensure the lighter sticks. Plug the fuse back in and your lighter will be good as new. -Pete

Cigarette front lighter is not working in my 2001Saab

Check ALL the fuses. pull them out an dlook. Also repace the one that is power for the dash/rradio/etc... even if it looks good.
If that doe snot fix it then pull the lighter out and test the wire going to it for power. If it has power then you might have a bad plug/ground. Replace outlet if so.
