No your ignition is a different lock but it could be keyed the same by a locksmith or possibly one could be ordered to match it from the factory based on your vehicle identification number.
You will need a jumper wire to jump pins 4 and pin 8 on the ALDL under the dash. Then hold both the lock and unlock buttons together on the key fob until the locks cycle, program complete!!
Hi Jamie, As you turn the key, **** the steering wheel hard side-to-side. The anti-theft interlock between the ignition switch and the steering is just jammed. Happens to all cars from time-to-time, and that's the fix.
Maybe the steering wheel lock causing this problem, try rocking the wheel left to right and back the other way, if that doesn't work the lock cylinder is defective and must be replaced.
take the door panel off from the inside. reach inside and undo the rod that locks and unlocks the door and 2 screws with a size no. 10 wretch and it should come right off.
Sounds like your security is staying on.Try locking the car with the remote keys then unlocking If that doesnt work lock car again and unlock it with key in passenger side door..These should solve your problems if not tell me what you got after doing those things..
