First check power to the coil. Pull the connector off and probe the connector terminal from the pink wire with a 12 volt test light. Connect the test light clip to a ground point/bolt on the engine. The test light should come on when the ignition switch is on. If not, suspect the ECM-1 fuse is bad or the ignition switch is bad.
If there is power to the coil, next test the coil. Run a jumper from the battery positive terminal to the pink terminal on the coil itself. Pull the coil wire off the distributor and place the wire close (within 1/4 inch) to a ground point on the engine. Then, briefly touch a jumper from the black/white coil terminal to engine ground. The coil should release a spark. If not, replace the coil.
If the coil is good, suspect the crankshaft position sensor is bad or loose. I'm assuming your engine light is off, but the sensor can fail without setting the engine light. If the engine light is on, see if you can get a scan to see if a crankshaft sensor trouble code is set.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
I've done all these in fact all have been replaced even pick up coil what would be next
Hi, do you have the same model? Engine size is 5.7? Assuming you have 12 volts DC at the coil (pink wire), next I would check AC voltage at coil with engine cranking. Check voltage from the pink wire to the white wire with a black stripe, then also check AC voltage from the pink wire to the white wire on the coil driver. This is your ECM ignition signal. If there is no AC voltage from the ECM, and the crank sensor is good, suspect the ECM is bad or the wire to the ECM is bad. Trace the white wire to the PCM for opens. The wire should go to pin 9 on connector C of the ECM.
This fixed my problem. The coil connector was loose at the end, i plugged it in securely , and wrapped in electrical tape to stop it from arching on the transmission dipstick. Thanks!

Check if you have fuel pressure. There's a fitting with a cap on it,similar to a tire valve. Remove the cap, hold a rag over it & watch your eyes. Have someone turn the key on & press the center down with a small screw driver or key at the same time. It should give a good squirt. It's best to use a fuel pressure gauge but this is the back yard method.
