The rod from the peddle to the master cylinder if it sounded inside the cab. I suppose either cylinder may have broken (is there still fluid in the reservoir?) and perhaps the rod on the slave cylinder.

and then you need to separate the transmission and engine to check for damage to the clutch itself.

2006 Hyundai Elantra clutch pedal stays down and car will not start

The clutch being on the floor says the slave cylender, or pilot bearing for the clutch is faulty. The vehicle should still start if you put it in neutral, it just can't be driven. Unsure about the windows.

1996 Mazda MX6 Clutch pedal has no push back from floor but still shifts

I am not a mazda guy but it sounds like the pressure plate is bad. Have you check the clutch linkage to be sure something did not slip or break. If so I would be looking at the clutch pressure plate.

Clutch pedal goes strait to the floor??clutch won't bleed up??

It has air bubbles on the piping, fill the deposit with brake solution, and push and pull the clutch pedal with your hand it doesn't matter if it goes straight to the floor if that happens pull it with your hand, repeat that as if you are bleeding it up, then disconnect the piping beneath the car, the air bubbles will be forced out, then reconnect the piping and repeat the procedure, push and pull the clutch pedal like a 100 times, then disconnect the piping and reconnect. The clutch pedal should be able to go back when there is no air on the piping. If that doesn't work, replace your clutch pump

I own a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder 5 speed. Yesterday I went to start my truck so I depressed the clutch peddle all the way so I can start the truck and in maybe the last inch of travel I heard a grinding...

No sorry to be the bearer of bad news but i think the fingers on the clutch are worn to excess and when the clutch is depressed fully the bearing is going through the fingers of the clutch causing the noise you can hear .Eventualy it will need a new clutch which is not expensive if you do it yourself

Clutch pedal sticks to the floor; the brake reservoir was low

I believe your pressure plate is broken and at a minimum will have to be replaced along with the clutch disk.

Clutch pedal just goes to floor in L200

check the fluid level in the slave cylinder, near the master cylinder where break fluid goes in, if it is empty, fill it with hydrolic fluid...you may have to bleed the lines at the tranny if you ran it out which it sounds like.

there is a plastic clip that connects the clutch pedal to the rod that goes to the master cylinder, chances are that it let go. Bad thing is that it is only available from GM along with the rod. It is around 50
