Water from air conditioner in passenger floorboard

Locate the drain tube then runs from the heater box to under the car. Run a pipe cleaner up through the drain tube until you remove the clog. It'll be messy and stinky.

Often the floor of the passenger side become wet if the drain pipe of the evaporator is:
- Bent or twisted.
- Clogged or,
- There is any obstruction in its routing.
The drain pipe is a rubber hose about 14 mm in diameter, located just under the evaporator (cooling coil) casing on the passenger side.
The most easiest way to clean the pipe is to take it out, wash it from inside with water or to blow a compressed air slowly through its distal end while leaving it in place under the body.
Note: Keep your eyes away while blowing the air.

no it will most likely be a blocked drain pipe that goes into the engine bay from the A/C and drains the condensation created by your car's air conditioner. A mechanic workshop can do a blast of compressed air by your mechanic and free the blockage takes about 30 seconds to do with a car hoist.
If it is humid conditions the problem will be much more and you might find the front demister won't work due to water sitting on top of the Air conditioner. It will heat this water and blow steam on your window.

My guess is the window seal.

If you look on the firewall on the passenger side there should be a drain hose for the A/C under the evaporator, these can get clogged over time and cause water to puddle on the floorboard. Just take a straightened out clothes hanger and push it up into the drain hose breaking up any blockage in there.


To replace the blower motor, take out carpet under glove box. look under glove box. there should be three screws to take out and then just pull out the old blower motor.

CONDENSATE DRAIN IS MOST LIKELY PLUGGED , DRAIN IS LOCATED NEAR BOTTOM OF FIREWALL ON PASSENGER SIDE ... COMPRESSED AIR WORKS GREAT TO UNSTOP THE DRAIN

Look for moisture on the glass of the windshield, as well as the passenger side door, if thebottom seal isnt making contact on the door glass water will run in threw the door

does it smell sweet, if sounds like you got a leaking heater core, sounds like to much for just condensation...

check all coolant line going to the heater core of vehicle
