Have the ignition switch checked as well as the connections at the main fuse panel. Sounds like you have an intermittant power supply issue.

Remove the starter and check the voltages out.Get the starter assembly checked by local garage. Most probably the starter is getting internally malfunctioned. It needs to be replaced.Try with another spare starter from car garage.Confirm the fault and buy another starter. Also the starter to battery connections needs to be rechecked.
Starter is weak but it needs replacement.
Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

It sounds like you might have a couple problems. So after the vehicle is running it will stop running? When does it do this while driving or once you come to a stop? First thing to test is the battery and all the connections including the ground. Then use a multimeter to check the voltages then check the voltage going to the starter and the starter solenoid.
Thanks,
Lee

You said that certain times the starter won't kick on at all. That indicates a more serious problem. So when the starter does work it starts right away? Like I said you need to check the cables and the ground. How do you know the battery is good you have checked it with a multimeter? When idle and when cranking?

2005 grand caravan. running fine. stopped at gas station and filled up. turned the key and won't start. all lights work. bell dings when keys are put in ignition.blowers work. everything runs but won't...

Try cleaning your battery terminals with a wire brush or sandpaper. You will need the proper wrench for this precedure. Retighten & start. If this fails, try taping the starter with a screwdriver. Sometimes this will free up a sticking starter selinoid. If this fails you may need a new starter. Hope this helps. Good luck!

99 caravan wont start sometimes but other times will

I'm thinking that you need to have the contacts replaced in the solenoid portion of the starter, that is if when it doesn't start all you hear is a clicking sound from up front.Contacts cost around $20 and aren't hard to replace, you need to find a starter repair shop to purchase them.

2002 Dodge Grand Caravan does not start

could be the starter but could also be a relay that is not working properly. the relays are under the hood. you would have to have someone under the hood and someone turning the key at the same time to see if the relay is working. if it works every time you turn the key then its probably the starter.

'92 dodge caravan dies at operating temperature

With the difference in years, there maybe a difference in alot of things. I'd start with mking sure every sensor, injector, everything links up properly to the 99 caravan pcm. If it's seeing the wrong info it will be a no go. Sounds like it's thinking it's -40 outside(foot to the floor to start) this indicates the coolant temp sensor maybe screwy. Let me know what you find, and about any other changes or issues.
