The electronmic control may be bad to overide and have heat open the hood and follow the heater hoses from the firewall there should be a vacuum hose going to a water valve this vacuum hose must have vacuum or the valve will not open, what you can do is purchase a vacuum hose T and find a vacuum hose off the motor that has constant vacuum t into that hose and run the hose to the valve on the heater hose this should open the valve providing heat.

Your heater hoses to your core are either bypassing the core or the valve is not working and stuck in the closed position.

1995 TAHOE BLOWS HOT AIR OUT THE VENTS DURING ACCELERATION

Did you mean the only time it blows hot air is under acceleration?

First thing check the coolant level in the radiator. If coolant is low the first hing to stop working is the heat.

If the coolant level is fine but the coolant is muddy I woulds suspect a plugged heater core. You can try back flushing it by removing both heater hoses (engine cold) and then use a garden hose to flush clean water through the heater core. Do this on both pipes going into the heater core. Keep flushing until the water runs clear. Re attache the the hoses, remove the radiator cap, start the engine, let the engine come up to temp and top off the radiator with straight coolant (to comp for the water in the heater core). You may have to repeat this process several times over several days but you should be able to get it cleared enough to get sufficient heat without having to replace it.

Heater on 1995 Chrysler Concorde stopped heating. Replaced water pump and thermostat. Blows semi warm air out of one dash vent and pure cold out of other dash vent. Does anyone know codes to reset?

there are no reset codes, did you bleed the air out of the cooling system? if not do this procedure, if that doeasn't fix it u have a failed air temperasture control blend door motor actuator.
The generic method of bleeding air from the cooling system is to use a floor jack and raise the front of the car as high as poss, then fill the coolant recovery tank full and run the engine until it just starts to overheat, high end of normal zone on gauge, then shut the engine down and run cold water over the radiator core, this will self bleed the system and the coolant will be pulled from the recovery tank, repeat as necessary, never let the recovery tank run dry or more air will be pulled into the cooling systeml ,

My heater is not working in my 2001 honda civic. Is it my thermostat?

Does the heater blow cold air from the vents or do you mean the there is no airflow from the vents? cold air from the dash vents when the heater control valve is set fully hot could be an air pocket in the cooling system. The radiator sits slightly lower than the engine causing air pockets to get trapped in the engine when you replace the coolant. you'll have to purge the cooling system to restore flow to the heater core. No airflow (blower motor inop) this could be a bad blower motor transistor. pin test the blower motor circuit.

1990 New Yorker (3.3) - Installed new water pump and thermostat. Heater blower works, but only blows cold air. What else can it be? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

are you sure the heater tap is turning on? the heater cor may very well be blocked. i would get the radiator and engine block reverse flushed.if you are abit handy yourself ,undo the two heater hoses [at the engine ,not the firewall ] then put a water hose into the heater hose and turn it on---- you may be very surprised what comes out the other hose,if any sludge or muddy water comes out ,then that was your problem , try that first. it has nothing watsoever to do with the thermostat or water pump ,for sure

I can,t get heat to work in side the car changed rad did flush changed thermostat still blows cold inside car

Do yo know if the heater core is getting Flow. when engine is warmed up. feel heater hoses hoing into and out of heater core. if both are warm then you have a blend door problem. if one is warm and one is cold and coolant is full and no air locks you have a plugges heater core. reverse flushing sometime works. otherwise it would need to be replaced.

No heat from heater

sounds like the thermostat is stuck. check this first. easier just to remove it and reinstall without one just to see if you get heat. If still not working then there needs to be a good flushing to be done. just make sure when you do a flush to leave heater controls to hot. if still not working then sounds to be like a bad heater core. you might need a professional flush which uses high pressure to blow out any clogs in heater core. hope this helps.

Heater output goes from hot to cold

It sounds like you have a blocked heater core ( Small radiator that the interior fan blows through to create the heat inside the car), If you can get access to the heater core pipes you might be able to flush it out but usually they need replacing.
hope this help
