There are cd cleaners that have tiny little brushes on them to knock the dust off the laser. It sounds like the lens is dirty and it isn't focusing. Assuming, of course, that it isn't a non-MP3 player trying to read an MP3 format disk... Nah, you wouldn't do that....
I've had this happen once before..CDR's are a little bigger than regular cd's.Sometimes they wont let go at all..You either can undo the battery and then reconnect then it usually automatically ejects or you'll have to manually do it or you can pull the fuse and then put it back in and the same proceedure..
