SOURCE: obdll code reads "P0351",ignition coil A

Regarding Ignition Coil Driver Fault P0351:
An ignition coil driver is the signal that comes OUT of your PCM at pin A7. The "A" plug is the Black plug nearest your engine that goes into the PCM. So, Pin A7 tells your coil what to do. So it can't be the coil... its the command "to" the coil originating inside the PCM.
What goes "in" at pin A8 is the input signal from your crankshaft sensor. And just above it is pin A18 the camshaft sensor input. These inputs are critical so its no surprise that everyone is running around replacing them even though they don't solve the problem.
The main symptom is that the vehicle misses and backfires, some times stalls, and gives you the DTC P0351. Another problem is very low idle; at a stop sign for instance. Trying to make it home by gunning the throttle while riding the brake. The signal that comes out of pin A10, A11, A19, A20? The Idle Air Control signal to the Idle Air Control Valve on the throttle body.
All of these pins reside together in an area about 1/4" square. The circuit board behind these pins is faulty, or the pins are not making good contact.
Find the PCM, follow the wiring harness from the above mentioned sensors to the PCM and push them in to make sure they are not loose.
Good Luck!! Keep me posted!!

Location of ignition control module 2001 cadilac deville

Ignition Coils/Modules
The electronic ignition system uses an individual ignition coil for each cylinder. There are two separate ignition module assemblies located in the camshaft cover of each cylinder bank. Each ignition module assembly contains an ignition control module and four ignition coils. Each ignition coil connects directly to a spark plug using a boot. This arrangement eliminates the need for secondary ignition wires. The ignition module assemblies receive power from a fused ignition feed. Both ignition module assemblies connect to chassis ground. A Reference Low and four ignition control (IC) circuits connect each ignition module assembly to the PCM. The PCM uses the individual IC circuits to control coil sequencing and spark timing for each ignition coil. The IC circuits transmit timing pulses from the PCM to the ignition control module to trigger the ignition coil and fire the spark plug. The PCM controls ignition system sequencing and timing events

When is the code detected?
The test fails when the Engine Control Module (ECM) does not receive a valid pulse signal from the ignition coil.
Possible symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Lack/Loss of Power
- Engine may be harder to start
- Engine hesitation
- Rough engine idle
P0350 Hyundai Description
The ignition signal from the Engine Control Module (ECM) is sent to and amplified by the power transistor. The power transistor turns ON and OFF the ignition coil primary circuit. This ON/OFF operation induces the proper high voltage in the coil secondary circuit.

Miss fires and stots off when I give it gas as codes 1391 ,0351, 0352, 0353,

P1391 - Not a valid obd code.
B1391 - Oil Level Switch Circuit Failure
C1391 - Not a valid obd code.
U1391 - Not a valid obd code.
Its possible you may have misread this code. If it is B1391 that would be the only code with 1391 for your vehicle.

I need to know what Dodge code P2311 & P2323 means.

P2311 Ignition Coil "D" Secondary Circuit
Internal fault with ignition coil #4 Could also be the PCM coil driver circuit

P2323 means "IGNITION COIL 8 SECONDARY CIRCUIT - INSUFFICIENT IONIZATION". What that means is "If the PCM detects that the secondary ignition burn time is incorrect, to short, or not present, an error is detected". Attached is the complete write up on possible causes and diagnostic tests. Hope this helps.
