Its in the same place on all engines.
its on the transmission (transaxle) bell housing flange.
where the two meet.
the only question is on what side, and that only takes 3seconds
open hood
see engine trans flange? (left engine, right trans) see that?
front is you standing there, seeing front of engine,
if not there, then its on the OTHER side.
easy no?
we've actually posted photos of the 2.0L engine, here, many times answering this same basic question.
here it is again,
the engine, with transmissing,
the engine is on the left facing it,
so that X there, is where, on the rear. see the X?
btw, if you use the internet to look at new rebuilt engines , pretend to find one and buy one
you get a free picture of it and that large hole
on the back side is the starter. hole.
this works for all engines.
this free trick.

My bad as I see it above. The starter will be located on the side of the block closest to the transmission as it turns the flex plate"flywheel". The easiest way to locate it is to follow the large positive leads from the battery down to the starter/ solenoid on your engine. It will be cylindrical in shape with the large cable attaching to the solenoid on top. Most suziukis with transverse engines locate it in an accessible position. It may be able to remove it from above.
