Need to know if its normal for an Xtrail clutch to burn out at 69000 km. If not, why would Nissan not cover it under the manufacturers warranty?

Clutch was fine one day, smelt a burning and took it in to the service department to find out that the clutch needs to be replaced. Nissan says its fair wear and tear, therefore not covered under their manufacturers warranty??? R 19000.00 replacement cost.

A clutch, like a tire and brakes, is a wearable item and simply not covered under warranty. Some clutches last longer than others but that is because of the way it is used. A clutch that is "ridden" will wear out faster than one than is not. And when you replace the clutch, you will have the same wear pattern with the new one unless you change your riding/driving habits.

Grab and release with some vibration, seams to coming from the transmission .nissan xtrail. this happen mainly between 40km/hr and 80 km/hr. when the transmission is hot .

It sounds like you may be having a problem with your overdrive slipping in and out. There is a Technical Service bulletin that covers several Nissan models for several model years. I do not now if this bulletin specifically applies to your vehicle because you did not mention the model year or the engine size.

Anyway, if the bulletin does apply, the fix is to have your engine computer reprogrammed with updated software. Depending on the year and mileage, it MAY be covered under emissions warranty.
