Does the Toyota 1995 Avalon front hub bearing is the same as the 1998

hello can a clog muffer make a Toyota Avalon 1998 run badly and give it funny song

why not just buy a new bearing and have it pressed in for you cheaper than a scrapyard

You need to go to Autozone and get yourself what is called the "axle nut socket". Since this car is front wheel drive, you'll need to loosen the nut while the car is still on the ground. Once loosened, jack the car up and proceed with changing the bearing/hub.

You need heavy duty equipment for this. A 10 ton press or a 300 dollar hub shark tool.

I believe it is on the water pump which is in the front of the 3.0 engine at the end of the bottom radiator hose.

this is the part that surrounds the lock driver side. Car color is green cary, North Carolina 27513
The solenoid or actuator arm for the door lock assembly is probably not working to full spec.

If the hub is not bolted on then all you have to do is get a big pair of channel locks and get a good grip on the hub and pry it off. The wheel bearing will be directly under the hub and have a cotter pin installed in for safety. I hope this helps. Don,t forget to rate my answer, thanks.

If you have 6 bolts going around the center (manual lock in/lock out) hub, you are going to be there a while. The center hub needs to come off, and ALL of the internal wheel bearings need to come out. The whole locking hub must be removed in order get the rotor off. This is NOT an easy job, and you need a special tool to loosen/tightem the wheel bearings. Figure 2 hrs per side if you have all of the proper tools & skill level.
