4.8 Liter with 160,000 miles. It all started with a series of warning messages on the Driver Control Center. Traction Control Off, Stabilitrac Off, Service Stabilitrac. Those messages would go away with a shutdown and restart. Eventually they would come back and then a P0451 code joined them. I got two different diagnoses from two repair shops. It ended up being the EVAP canister that was replaced and the P0451 code went away. The Traction Control Off, Stabilitrac Off, and Service Stabilitrac messages returned along with some choppy engine idiling and driving. The garage that fixed the EVAP canister suggested that it was most likely the throttle body, so I replaced it with a new DELCO throttle body. The truck seemed to run a little bit smoother, but the Traction Control and Stabilitrac messages returned along with a blinking and eventually constant check engine light. Now I am getting a P0308 (misfire in cylinder #8) code and worsening choppy engine.
Welcome to the club .Obama motors .
I have read your post .The problem is realated directly to fuel deliverery. You had problems with the EVAP system .Misfire on #8 cylinder . The vehicle is olny 2011 but you have a lot of milage for 3 years . I would check the fuel filter first thing a lot of fuel has run through it .The fuel pump could also be an issue however they normaly last 10 years or so but depending on how much winter driveing you do the road salts they now use are much worse then they use to be as far corration check the connecters to the pump.
What I can say is most of these codes you are getting have nothing to do with the problems you are haveing there just side effects of how the VCM .controls information and the air horn had nothing to do with your problem nor did your dome light .The olny other thing could be a problem with the injuction system the regulator or an injector. Try the fuel filter first but it is in the fuel system
