SOURCE: 1990 Nissan Maxima transmission top vacumn line

I believe the line you are talking about is a vent line not a vacuum line. It should go tp a metal tube that is in a "U" shape. This bolts to one of the bolts on the transmission.

How do I replace my radiator in a 1996 Buick Regal 3.8 3800series

This is actually not too difficult.
I recommend replacing the upper, and lower radiator hoses while you are replacing the radiator if they are getting old.
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove radiator fan (Some had two 10mm bolts at the top, and slots at the bottom, others had two more 10mm bolts on the bottom.) - And unplug the electrical connector.
3. Disconnect transmission lines (you will loose a bit of fluid)
You may also have two engine oil cooler lines that need removing (Also may loose some oil)
4. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses, and the overflow jug hose.
5. Unbolt radiator (should have two 8 or 10mm bolts connecting it to the radiator support near the top of the radiator)
6. Pull radiator up and out.
7. Reverse for reassembly
8. Refill radiator, I usually leave the top radiator hose loose while filling to remove air bubbles in the engine. - reconnect upper hose when fluid starts to get close to the radiator inlet. Some of these engines have a small brass air bleeder near the thermostat housing to accomplish this in a different way. Also fill the overflow jug about half way.
9. Check transmission, and engine oil. - Run engine, and watch for any leaks. - Recheck antifreeze just to be sure. Obviously don't open the radiator cap when the engine is hot.

The 2000 dodge grand caravan has two lines running from a cylinder just to the right and bottom of the radiator. it looks like power steering fuel runs through

if their metal, the could be coming from transmission fluid lines, are they going into radiator ? one @ top & one @ bottom of rad . their cooling lines from trans, supply / return . if rubber lines, they go to a transmission cooler , looks like a small radiator, rectangular , supply / return. power steering has no cooling . these lines don't come from engine, power steering has power steering fluid NOT TO BE MISTAKEN FOR TRANSMISSION FLUID, TOTALLY DIFFERANT !!!!!!

How to take out the radiator and ac radiator

Unfortunately you may not like the answer. The manuals cal for you to take the entire front end apart, including the bumper. I'll tell you, you will have to take the front end almost apart. Start by removing the battery, negative post first as this is necessary to the airbag sensors. Remove the battery and the tray. Next remove the electrical power distribution box and lay it aside. mark and remove the hood latch so you can line it back up on the install. Now there are several bolts to remove across the radiator shroud brace remove them and note the different lenghts so you can return them on re-installation. drain the radiator and remove the hoses top right and bottom left. If you have an automatic transmission you will need a special tool to remove the lines (found at your local parts stores). On the bottom of the vehicle you will need to have removed the protection shroud. once you have the lines and hoses disconnected you will need to remove the headlight assemblies by the bolts and not the adjustment rods. there you will find behind them a plug disconnect for your airbag sensors on the right and the left as well as two bolts on each side remaining in the shroud. remove the shroud by pulling up and to one side or the other while pulling out on the bumper at the top. after this there will be two brackets at the bottom to remove the radiator. The radiator will come out through the bottom of the car. To continue with removing the a/c radiator (condenser coil), using the same style tool for removing the transmission lines, disconnect the lines and remove it as well. Remember though to have the freon properly drained if the system is still charged as the intense pressure can cause injury when taking the lines apart. Installation is the reverse of the dis-assembly.

  2. On automatic transmission vehicles, connect the oil cooler lines.
  3. Install the fan and shroud.
  4. Install the lower and upper radiator hoses.
  5. Connect the expansion tank hose. Make sure that the overflow hose is clear of the fan and is free of any sharp bends.
  6. Fill the cooling system through the expansion tank, with a 50 percent antifreeze, 50 percent water solution.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8. Run the engine until normal operating temperature is reached.
  9. Bleed the cooling system.
  10. Check for leaks.
  11. Top up the cooling system, as required.
  12. Replace the cap.
  13. Check and top up the automatic transmission fluid level.

Hope thats help (remember comment and rated this).

Changing radiator on automatic subaru legacy twin turbo, cause it has a oil feed how to refill when ive put new radiator on

Hi:
The two lines that you are wondering about are oil cooler lines for your transmission. One is a pressure line from the transmission, the other is the return. Usually only a small amount of transmission fluid is lost during a radiator change, but all you need to do is to check for leaks on the line connections, and if they are good, then check your transmission fluid level after you are finished and top off if needed.

How do u remove a 1991 honda accord engine

Get some boxes, bags and a sharpie marker to put things in and label them if this is your first time. Disconnect and remove battery and metal battery tray, unplug ALL wires and lines that connect to engine including AC lines that are in the way and the throttle cable and cruise control cable. Keep the plug wires hooked to your distributor so you don't lose your firing order. Drain radiator and remove it. Remove the top hose and use the long lower hose to push over the outlet where the top hose was to contain what is left in the radiator. Automatic cars will require disconnection of the transmission cooler lines from the bottom of the radiator. Open gas cap before disconnecting fuel line on intake to relieve pressure. Remove front wheels and separate bottom ball joints from lower control arms on each side, separate both outer tie rod ends from knuckle. Drain transmission fluid, pop out both axles from transmission. They can hang. Disconnect shifting linkage. Disconnect exhaust down pipe (or) disconnect tailpipe at the end of braided hose just before the catalytic converter. Mainly, get it to where the motor is just sitting there in the cradle with nothing holding it but motor mounts. Hook a chain to the pick bracket on the head near the power steering pump and to the one on the transmission. Feel free to remove the 17mm bolts in each mount as well as any brackets for these mounts that obstruct your ability to pull it up out. I have found that pulling it out on an angle with the transmission being lower helps your mood! The 4 motor mount locations are as follows: Front Center - Left - Right - Rear Center. If you are replacing this 90-91 engine with a 92-93 you will need to reuse your AC compressor and it's bracket, the down pipe and the header and the wiring harness on the engine.

Brownish fluid leaking from the small mannifold on the passenger side of the car in front of the radiator...is this transmission fluid?

Good chance it's the transmission fluid. The passenger side of the radiator is the transmission cooler side and the coolant is leaking from the transmission lines. There should be two lines, one on top which is the inlet and the bottom one which is the return line. Check to make sure there is no corrosion along the lines or that the line has not come loose at the radiator. Locate the leak and repair or replace the lines. Good luck and take care not to run low on transmission fluid, low fluid in the system will cause the transmission to burn out.
