open the hood and their should be 2 torx headed adjustment screws sticking out of the rearward portion of the headlamp sometimes they have to be accessed thru a hole
there should be a plastic piece under the steering column, by your lap, take the cover piece off. And put your thumb in the hole and poke around until you feel a button that should release the key! This is an answer given to another driver of a cobalt. See if this helps. Otherwise, pull out your manual and look for key release button.
Suggest the front strut is bad. You should replace them as a set, if so. (Also check the bolts at the bottom of the strut. The two large ones. Insure that they are tight. Look close with a light. See if the bolt head has moved. If so, it will have left a pattern behind, of where it was sitting)
There will be adjustment screws located on at least two different spots surrounding each headlamp. By turning these screws you move the angle of the headlamp. Most shops will do this at a very resonable rate, I say this because improper headlamp angle may lead to a ticket, or at least a warning. To say the least, they have to be at specific angles and heights. Good luck.
there is a problem with the fuses getting wet under the hood, it has been causing alot of problems with headlights you may want to check there for anything
