93 Nissan 300zx no crank no start.

head lamps work, jumper cable jump starts fail>?y/n?
ah a simple failure, not dead engine complex.
this has only 6 causes, of no crank. using voltmeter makes the job near childs play. if you do that, guessing will be $$$$$$$
A/T trans or M/T auto or stick , not the same.
you shorted out wires under the dash with that key act.
that blows fuse if lucky or blows up very very expensive electronics. nobody here knows what you blew out.
only using meter finds this. a voltmeter (DMM)
all one word left off, I broke off the metal key inside the ignition switch so then hot wired the switch
bingo now I under stand what you did.
a new ignition switch is best.
I think there is no IMMO here
I found a free service manual (real) online
let me see what fuse you blew up.
if you short out the key switch or starter relay
yes the fuse link blows. for sure.
fuse 19 is the starter fuse, not blown.
volt meter check IGN switch has power white wire is power in,if dead, link is blown
turn to ST start, and ST pin goes to 12vdc
as does starter out relay pin B/Y to starter

now the free manual
https://procarmanuals.com/pdf-online-nissan-300zx-1993-service-manual/

now you have full schematics in the EL chapter,.
see 1 below in part.

start path fuse battery must be good.

40 Amp fuse keeps blowing immediately after I put it in and turn the key.

Possibly but more likely you've disturbed the wiring and it is now causing a short circuit

1987 Toyota Camry. My tail light don’t work. Changed the 20A fuse with a new 20A fuse, but every time I put a new one in it blows the fuse. I put a 25A fuse in and works perfectly fine. Should I trust it...

Adding a larger fuse is the single best way to start your car on fire. Check the ground connections. Check the terminals for corrosion. Fix the problem. Don't torch the vehicle.

HORN ON 1981 CHEVY ONE TON NOT WORKIG. NEED INFO ON HOW TO TROUBLE SHOOT HORN.

The horn should only have a one wire connection. Disconnect the wire from the horn and run a wire from the positive battery terminal and touch the clip on the horn where the wire was disconnected from,if it blows, the problem might be in the switch in the steering wheel.
If it doesn't blow, check for a blown fuse, or a bad horn relay switch, Sorry I can't tell you exactly where that is, I don't have my manual at the moment. It is usually mounted near the firewall on the passenger side along with 2 or 3 others.

Interior dash out, tail lights and running light out, is this a fuse? where is it? Signals and brake lights work but blow fuses when it rains

No interior dash lights and no tail lights on a GM usually means it's time for a new headlight switch. To check the fuse, it's in the middle of the fuse box marked instrument cluster. If the fuse is good, buy the switch. Lights blowing fuses means you either have a bare wire running down the driver's side of the truck or up into the tail light assemblies. There is also a plug in under the box on the driver's side near the bumper that may be getting wet. Hope this helps.
