I fail to see how fuel pressure will cause a no spark condition. But, there should be a schrade valve on the fuel rail on most models. You can also spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body while cranking to get it started (but likely not because of spark) Your injection system should self purge. I would also check the crank position sensor...that can shut down fuel and spark under certain conditions. Make sure that fuel pump is running (listen with key on) before beginning any diagnosis.

I ran my 07 Chevy uplander out of gas an it wouldnt start back. I changed the fuel pump an it ran maybe 30 sec an it just sputters an dies like its not getting fuel

You'll have to install a fuel pressure gauge to make sure it's getting the right fuel pressure and volume. If it is, then go on to check the crankshaft and camshaft sensor signals. Then tell the computer when to fire the injectors and spark plugs.

Miss firing at random

misfires are more that often from faulty injectors and not spark related
check fuel pressure and injector condition
use fuel conditioner in the tank

Do i need to bleed the injector pump on my isuzu bighorn 4gj2 after replacing the head? as it wont fire

anytime you disconnect the fuel rail, and if it has a bleeder/test port (looks like a tire Valve), Then it needs to be bled before fuel will reach the injectors. Also check Spark plug ignition as well make sure grounds have been returned properly.

No bleeding on any vehicle fuel lines

93 tracer lost power on highway while driving, i checked the fuel pump switch in trunk then checked gas filter hose and cranked gas came out so not fuel problem then i checked to see if i have spark a

Clogged air filter ? Needs air into the engine also ,plus compression . Are the fuel injectors spraying fuel into the engine ? Try spraying starting fluid into the engine through the throttle plate and seeing if it starts then ? If it does ,fuel injector problems .

Ran out of gas now cylinder one is miss firing replaced fuel filter and spark plugs but didnt help

I would suspect that the fuel injector for cylinder 1 may have clogged with dirt. Try swapping it with another cylinder's injector and see if the misfire follows.

If that is your only transportation you need to call other repair shops. Find out about towing fees and what diagnostic fees they have.

Before there were diagnostic scanners, there were Mechanics. Scanners come in all types and some will suggest possible solutions and others are tools which Mechanics use to find problems.

For instance, you are told you have fuel pressure. You are told they installed new spark-plugs. You were not told if the spark-plugs are getting electricity to fire. You were not told if the fuel injectors are getting electricity to allow gas to reach the cylinders. You can have fuel pressure but the fuel injectors must open to put gas into the engine.

A noid tester or plain testing light will show if the injectors are opening. A spray of starting fluid will also indicate if the engine is not getting fuel despite fuel pressure. It will try to run with starting fluid if it has spark.

When you find out whether it runs, if not, then check for spark if the starting fluid does not make a difference.

It is questionable whether new spark plugs were needed if installing them had no effect. Check other service places.
