You may use another brand of relay (say Bosch) then let your electrician make a retrofit to match the connection of the original . Make sure that the current (amps) rating is the same or a little bit higher than the original. If you can't get a unit with higher current rating, use 2 or 3 and connect it in parallel.

No power to fuel pump. Turn key on and fuel pump does not work. Fuel pump is new

start small. Did you reconnect the wiring? Have you checked fuses and/or relays? It is most likely a small issue if the pump is new. Make sure all wiring is correct and work up to the fuses/relays. A text light will be your best friend in this particular situation. If there is no power to the relays, you have to work your way from there to your ignition. Good luck. Hope it helps.

No power at fuel pump

Test the fuel pump relay or the inertia switch located on the passinger side kick panel inside the truck. If those are not the problem then check the ecc relay next to the fuel pump relay.

Where is the fuel pump relay on a 1990 Jaguar sovereign, also is there a way to get into the trunk with out a key and the electric lock is not working. (there is no crawl space behind back seat)

The fuel pump relay on my 1990 is located on the passenger side under the dash. You have to remove the lower interior panel to expose a number of relays there will be a color guide that tells you which relay is the one for fuel.

I don't here the fuel pump ever kick on in my 1990 Ford F150, and I tested all of the fuses and they are good. I was thinking the relay for the fuel pump might be bad -- any suggestions?

It's under your hood, in one of those boxes, and should be marked. Your pump won't cut in if it's fried either. Check to see if there is power at the pump. Maybe you just have a loose wire. You can always hope!

Location of fuel pump relay (1990 hyundai sonata)

The fuse box is located low on the left side of the dashboard behind a cover, or at the left side kick panel, behind a cover.

Relay Box -is located under the left side of the dash as well.
