This issue has been going on for at lease 4 years now it only happens about a month after a fresh oil change. I use 10w40 along with a quart of Lucas oil treatment still have that problem any suggestions?
That's pretty normal for the Isuzu 3.2 V6. Lifters make a lot of noise in these, usually when they are cold but they will also do it randomly if they're warm too.
You cannot fix faulty lifters by changing the oil or using oil additives. The engine has to be repaired. If the lifters are ticking loudly bits of metal are being ground away and being circulated through your engine.
Using oil additives is a total waste of money and in fact is detrimentally affecting the lubrication job of the engine oil.
Thank you for that information, one thing though when I change my oil it quiets down for at lease a month and after that if I add a half quart of oil it quiets the lifters sometime why is that?
The new oil is just temporarily masking the problem to a degree. Oil in the engine deteriorates over time and with use. The problem is still there and I would suggest you buy a better and newer car before the problem gets even worse and you will be up for a great deal of money in engine repairs which might cost more than the car is worth.
I have a 96 honda with the same noise, bought it used with 168,000 on it and at 170,000 I rebuilt the whole top end. ($$$$) costed alot of time and money. At first strt up and driving for about three weeks, it was great, quit, I was very happy and then guess what? I started clattering again, sounds like a diesel sometimes. I do normal 3,000 mile oild changes and even tried a 50weight oil in it, makes no differance.but at 208,000 miles still runs strong. But I did find if your turn the radeo up a little more you never hear the clatter!

SOURCE: changing 10-40 to 20-50 oil
The use of a 20-50 oil will not harm your vehicle,,,neither will the use of lucas additive. BUT, have you determined the reason for excessive oil consumption? (leaks vs burn off) Even what appears to be a small drip can use more oil than you think (ever leave a container under a dripping faucet?) Have you had a compression or leakdown test done on the engine to determine the extent of cylinder/ring wear? You may find that much of the oil consumption is due to dried out valve stem seals (far less expensive than a rebuild) In any case, using a good grade of oil will delay the wear process. Using a poor quality lubricant will accelerate it.
Poor quality lubricants have a high parafin content which forms sludge and are prone to burnoff even in a well running engine. This forms carbon in the ring grooves and causes the rings to stick and lowers compression as well as permitting more oil into the combustion chamber. That's something you don't want or need in a worn engine.

No spark is caused first by crank sensor. this sends a signal to the module and coil packs to plug wires. Sensor may be fualty. It will cause car to act the way yours did.
SOURCE: oil light blink
I would replace the oil sending unit. It is the sensor that measures oil pressure and turns the light on if too low. It's a simple process and here is a link to a "How to" article...

you didn't say you changed the fuel filter, which is the NUMBER ONE cause of cold start and idle problems

@John thank you for the information I believe you opinon is more on point. John can you review the previous comment by Sean Piquet and tell what do you think about his diagnosis?
I think Sean knows what he's talking about in a generic sense but he has no idea that this is perfectly acceptable in this vehicle. (I've owned a 1995 Passport 2wd V6 for 7 years now) Take a look here for examplehttp://forum.planetisuzoo.com/viewtopic.... and if you looked through those forums you'd find many more threads like that. Mine does it sometimes.... and sometimes it doesn't.

Here's another thread, even more relevant, discussing dealing with it by using different oil.http://forum.planetisuzoo.com/viewtopic.... The bottom line is you don't need to tear it apart and do anything to it. Not a bad idea to change your oil a lot. I just failed a smog test so I'm going to try the Seafoam treatment they also discuss but dumped into the vacuum line to clear out all the carbon deposits. I'm close to 170k. Funny some opinions are that these Isuzus are junk, others say they're good. Mechanically mine is very reliable, power windows have needed a lot of attention. Some pics of my custom stereo and a solar powered ventilation setup I did last year:http://s353.photobucket.com/user/batvett... Note the kickpods, one of a kind, fiberglass. Pair of 15's in back.
