Clifford, thanks for the help, I will put a drawing of the fuse box in my dash. I replaced the fuse although it looked good, still no lights. I will use a jumper to make sure I am getting contact.

The fuse you want to check is in the fuse panel inside the vehicle on the dash (I think. I know it's the one inside the vehcile though). Below is a diagram of the fuse layout and I marked the fuse you want to check. Hope this helps.....

Fuse 12 for the brake switch, but it covers a lot of other things as well that would be very noticeable.

I have a 2002 hyundai Santa fe and when I turn headlights on the insturment panel don't light up so I can't see how fast I'm going..the cover to the fuses is missing so I don't know what fuse

The dash lights work with the park lights. If the park lights are operational, there is no fuse issue. Make sure the dashlight dimmer control switch is not turned to the low/off position

2007 Caravan SXT..Cruise quit functioning..Press cruise and the green cruise light comes on in the dash but flickers..Any ideas appreciated. Horn does work. No obvious brakelight issues.

Look on the panel that covered the fuse box that you removed to get to the fuses. There will be a picture with corresponding numbers to as to which fuse controls what and what number it is.
Does that help out ?

I am working on a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara the taillights and dash lights do not work I have checked all the fuses and connections that I can find any ideas thank you

id bet not. checking fuse by eye is the wrong way,
bad looking sure, are bad but good looking fuses can infact be bad.
we use a voltmeter, it never lies.
the fuse is marked, TAIL, its really parking and all dash illumination lights (dimmable too)
fuses can in fact hair line crack. a fact

if not the fuse, then its the parking system lights failure.
this system is huge, all side lights , front park, tail park
and cab., the FSM factory sevice manual covers this as does
the alldata.com pages, log in and see a real schematic.
see how park happens. from the knob to the lamps.,
some have a relay. on newer cars its works,, one computer tells other to tune on the park relay, be glad that is not your car.
eg: comm errors.

Why didmy tail lights quit working, now my range rover wont come out of park,And where is the 17 fuse?

The tail lights sound like a fuse. The interior fuse box iss under the passenger seat. Access thru the pop out cover on the seat base surround.
If you have a dead battery your gear selector will not disengage from park.

Hope this helps a bit. Feel free to repost with more info and ill do my best to follow up.

The cruise control and horn quit together, but there is no fuse marked as such.

The horn is protected by fuse #9 (20 Amp), but my diagrams don't show which fuse
controls the cruise control.
Your Voyager has 2 fuse panels - one under the driver's side instrument panel (just to the right
of the parking brake pedal), and one next to the battery, under a plastic cover..

My shift lever is stuck in park, no matter what I do I can't release it from park. Any ideas?

if the shifter is on the floor there is a little piece of plastic covering a small hole to disengage the emergency shift lock solenoid.Take a small object like a paper clip and press down in that hole and this should unlock it for now.THe main cause of this is a faulty shift interlock control solenoid.good luck and i hope this helps

No 'running lights'

cover or underside of cover should have details/map. Also check under hood for relay/fuse box too.
