SOURCE: p1613 fault code & engine will not rev over

Crank sensor or engine speed sensor is faulty.

Fault:
Irregular power loss on accelerating
The speed of the engine is limited till 2500rpm
Frequent loss of crankshaft position sensor signal

Cause:
It is caused due to leaking from thermostat housing into crankshaft position sensor harness multi-plug

Remedy:
Check and clean the crankshaft position sensor harness multi-plug contacts. Rectify the engine coolant leak from the thermostat housing if found. Take a note of the engine coolant level and monitor it for changes, showing a leak is indeed occurring.

SOURCE: code p1613 on a 1998 hyundai elantra means what

P1613 trouble code. When you start the engine, the TCM (transmission control module) sends a test signal along the wire to the ECM (engine control module) it uses to request the check engine lamp. P1613 indicates that the test signal voltage is more than 120% of battery voltage.

I'd recommend clearing the code to see if it comes back. It's possible this was a one-time error. If it does come back, it'll be very difficult to diagnose. The problems could be:
1. Improper signal from TCM (defective TCM)
2. Improper signal measurement in ECM (defective ECM)
3. Irregular feedback from an actuator that causes bleed-over into this signal circuit in either the ECM or TCM.

The last case of this I recall was a defective TCM

SOURCE: What is (P1612 code) vehicle immobilizer means?

An immobilizer is an electronic device fitted to an automobile which prevents the engine from running unless the correct key is present. This prevents the car from being hot wired after entry has been achieved.
The microcircuit inside the key is activated by a small electromagnetic field which induces current to flow inside the key body, which in turn broadcasts a unique binary code which is read by the automobile's Engine Control Module (ECM). When the ECM determines that the coded key is both current and valid, the ECM activates the fuel-injection sequence.
The immobilizer function of the Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System (NVIS) or Nissan Anti-Theft System (NATS) consists of the following:
- NATS ignition key
- NATS antenna amp. located in the ignition key cylinder
- Body control module (BCM) or (IMMU)
- Engine Control Module (ECM)
- Security indicator lamp

Find another mechanic you will not read this fault ,what you have here is a old time seat of the pants fault and to work it out you need a old timer mechanic ,now 2004 could be a fly by wire throttle and the fault could be the pedal control inside the cab ,happens a lot with renault meganes and lagunas but thats my favourite car to hate a renault --Another posibility is the fuel pump going home and to diagnose i would need to drive the car and when it stops to check for spark and fuel pressure ,simple to a old geezer like me but some of these youngsters only know how to read a diagnostic reader ,Try repairing a truck on the motorway at 03.00 in the morning in -12C if i couldnt get it going i would have been out of a job
