SOURCE: starter 2000 maxima se

Firts disconnect battery. Remoce air filter box. You will see the starter right under neith the air box. You will see a rubber bute. Under the boot is a 12mm wrench size nut. Remove nut. There is a single wire connector. Unplug connector. There are 2 bolts holding the starter to the trans. One of them is pretty big.(19mm socket size ?) and the other is smaller. Remove them both and the starter will come out. Reverse install procedure. Good luck

SOURCE: location of a o2 sensor 2001 nissan maxima

bank 1 refers to the side of the engine that #1 cylinder is on , and sensor 2 refers to downstream , after the catalytic converter. , this link shows bank 1 on a 2001 nissan maxima V6 being on the firewall side . if you had a 4 cylinder it would be downstream after the catalytic converter .

I just had a starter replaced on my 2001 Nissan Maxima and now it makes a noise like an electric motor is still running but when I remove the ENG CONT 2 fuse,it stops, what could this noise possibly be

Unplug the IAC. Does the noise go away? If so you probably have a bad PCM (computer) and IAC. Possibly bad wiring to IAC. IF noise does not go away unplug starter, does noise go away?
