I need to change the motor on the drivers side rear window. It's just a vent window but the motor gave out. Got the motor off but can't figure out how to remove the arm from the window.
The rear wiper arm doesn't lift far away enough from window to change blade. I'd like to know how to remove the arm to make it easier to change the blade. The rear wiper arm doesn't lift far away enough from window to change blade. Re: Drivers Side Rear Window Electric Motor Removal
The local dealer was very helpful in figuring this problem out. There is a clip in the ball part of the arm. When removed, the arm releases very easily.

The electric window could either be the fuse, switch, or window regulator motor at fault..Sometimes the window motor electric plug can vibrate loose or become loose from door slamming..Also the switch can become loose as well or contamination if you are lucky..You will have to remove door panel to inspect these components..and fuse panel..The light could be a faulty bulb..Check and replace bulb..before involving the signal indicator switch lever...If bulb is at fault go ahead and change bulbs at both rear sides..Do not try to repair signal switch because of air bag..If you can hold down on the turn signal switch and it works the switch is at fault...
Raise and support the rear door window glass to the full up position.

Remove the rear door window regulator by sliding the regulator arms off of the window glass track.
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure, noting the following:

Secure the rear door window glass in the full UP position with tape.
Disconnect the window regulator motor electrical connector.

Remove the 3 window regulator motor bracket nuts.
Install the window regulator assembly. Tighten the 3 motor bracket nuts to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
