MY AUDI STARTED TO LOSE POWER AND THE YELLOW
Emission can be an 02 sensor or catalic converter or fuel related problem. You need to have the codes read and go from there. You can drive the car, but you will damage the catalic converter after time. And it will eventually shut down on you.

How often should the oil be changed
This depends on the settings for the on board computer and the type of oil used for services.if set when NEW,using fully synthetic oil the service interval will show up on the dash as "service"(approx 20k/2 years) BUT if OEL shows, then use semi synthetic oil and change at 10k/every year.weight of oil should be 10/30 upto 60k then use 10/40 after or when you notice an increase of oil consumption. These engines WILL use oil, as the bores are plasma coated, roughly 1ltr to 500km is acceptable(according to AUDI).Yes i know that AUDI fit 5/30 when new from the factory,BUT only supply 10/30 or 10/40 to the dealers for aftermarket services....(they have a deal with castrol, gemini, worldwide).Same goes for all VW group products, after all it is a VW engine.

I have a 2006 audi a4 with 2.0 turbo engine.I am
Well I would make sure that whoever is changing your oil is using an oil filter with an anti flow back valve. I had the same problem with a few of my car when I used filters without the anti flow back valve. I can't stand that noise when you first start it. Now I always use anti flow back filters and I never hear it anymore.

Check engine light came on
Take your car to your local auto parts store most will read the codes for free as a service to their customers. And will try to troubleshoot the code to help you out. They also want to sell you the parts it may take to fix it.

I ran out of diesel. put some in and car still
1. The engine does not have any fuel system screw bleeder!
2. The only one way for start the engine is to fill up the tank, then turn the ignition key in "ON" position for 4 - 5 times, wait for 10 seconds between two attempts, without cranking engine.
3. After that push the clutch pedal, (if exists), to the floor, and the accelerator pedal to the floor too. Now turn the ignition key in "ON" position, wait for 5 seconds, and crank the engine for maximum 40 ... 50 seconds. Wait for 60 seconds between two starting attempts, in order to save the battery & starter motor.
4. Repeat the step no.#3 until start the engine.
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT TOW THE CAR IN ORDER TO ATTEMPT TO START THE ENGINE!!!

Just take your Audi to a State Inspection Station. It's a Slam Dunk for them. And it will be in accordance with the Law.

Where is the Audi A4, 2006 Multitronic (CVT)
The computer usually sits on the wall next to the driver's legs, but yours could be under the seats, or under the dash, that one I don't know, but it should be kept dry, not under the hood. The valve body is in the transmission. It is accessible from underneath, just under the filter, or on top I should say, holds all your shift solenoids etc.
