In order to receive calls, you must turn Notifications on for your magicJack APP.

1. On your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, go to Settings, Notifications, and select magicJack APP
2. Make sure that Alert Style is set to Notifications and Sounds are turned on

You can also shut down the magicJack APP by "double-clicking" the "Home" button on your device, tapping and holding down the magicJack APP icon, and then tapping the "X" icon in the top right corner of the magicJack APP icon. Once the magicJack APP has been shut down, you can re-launch it by tapping the icon.

You cannot use the magicjack in this way. The magicjack is used to enable the telephone to be used instead of the computer. Plug in the magic jack device when the internet connection is working and it should download the software to make it work.

1. Lower the volume on your telephone.
2. Unplug your magicJack from the power source, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back.

If that does not work:

2. Turn your modem and router back on and plug your magicJack back in.

Magicjack is an internet device, you must be connected to the Internet to use it. Check your internet access by opening the browser and going to googles home page. The magic jack device should be plugged in to the USB port and .will be shown as enabled in the device manager (under the control panel).
