if you have the old belt, take it to your local ace hardware and find an o-ring that is slightly smaller than the belt - it should work for you and only cost pennies

unplug the clock radio from the power, take out the back up battery ( if it has one). let it set for 60 seconds or so, plug it back in, It should now be flashing 12:00 over and over. now reset the clock to the correct time and date.

did you go into the source menu on the tv and go to the hdmi no.you have the hdmi wire plugged into

Try taking off the back cover, and inside there is a circuit board for the CD player. Get a small phillips screwdriver and take off the bottom of it. Then after that there are a couple motors, look at all of them and check for worn out wires. Or just solder some in. Mine had the same problem.

Directions for Resetting the Daylight Savings Time (DST) Start & End Dates on the Emerson Research Smartset Dual Alarm Clock Radio (cks5055s):

• This should work for all Smartsets, but I cannot make the guarantee (and no, I don't have any other directions, sorry)!
• Adjusting the DST Start Date on an Emerson Research Smartset:
  1. Depress & hold the MONTH/DATE and the ALARM1 buttons (at the same time). After 3 seconds the display will show the DST 'start' month, week, and date. It should be alternately showing "4 F" (April and first week week) and "4. 1".
  2. While still holding the MONT/DATE and the ALARM1 buttons, press the DOWN (or "-") button 3 times, until the display is showing "3" (March) and the week as "F2". It should alternately flash "3 F2" and "3. 11".
  3. After this is set, the clock should "automatically" reset itself
• Adjusting the DST End Date on an Emerson Research Smartset:
  1. Depress & hold the MONTH/DATE and the ALARM2 buttons (at the same time). After 3 seconds the display will show the DST 'end' month, week, and date. It should be alternately showing "10 L" (October and last week week) and "10. 28".
  2. While still holding the MONT/DATE and the ALARM1 buttons, press the UP (or "+") button 1 time, until the display is showing "11" (November) and the week as "F". It should alternately flash "11 F" and "11. 4".
  3. After this is set, the clock should "automatically" reset itself

One thing to note, if you ever have to change the lithium backup battery for the Smartset clocks, it will revert back to it's factory defaults and you'll have to go through his all over again.

You should be able to get a printout of the manual at just about any office supply store. Take the manual on a thumbdrive or download it at the store and have them run off a copy. You'll have to pay for the printout, of course. Or you can just read the manual online.

You mAy have to be a little more informative on what the exact problem is. Usually only one sub-woofer is used in normal one room setups. Try to centrally locate it. Good Luck!

If tv not powering on, then probly power capacitor is bad. Open tv to reveal inside. There is a cluster of small capacitors look like tiny cans) that feed/store power to turn on tv. If capacitors are bulging on tops then they are bad. Simple to replace by soldering. Can purchase online or radio shack.

Try backing up (going backwards) with your time until the day is correct, then, add 1 (day's) date to your date (to bring it back to being correct after going backwards).

check for a switch at the back or pull the power lead out of the jack socket as some machines will not operate batteries and power at the same time
