Curtis Mathes TV Remote Control Codes for Programming the remote to the TV
I own a One-for-All universal remote, and my booklet says the setup code for a Curtis Mathes TV (without a built-in DVD or VCR) is one of the following numbers: 0030, 0047, 0054, 0060, 0093, 0145, 0154, 0166, 0451, 0702. I can not guarantee these numbers will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.

Standard television spot after bright screen
A explanation that may tell you what is happening:Some of their sets had this issue. The picture tube has a metal screen inside directly behind the stripes that make up the phosphor coating on the inside of the picture tube.It is called a shadow mask. It has perforations that line up with all the stripes on the screen (look close--red-green-blue stripes all outlined in black--tiny).What is wrong is not fixable even if the tube is replaced----the metal used in these sets for the mask contains iron which causes it to expand in areas with real bright scene changes--No need to remove question as I saw it and answer questions for most TV area problems.I actually ten years ago worked for Circuit City--saw at least 5 sets (all larger Toshiba sets) with this issue. On seeing first one called our support staff and someone explained to me the issue---that set was under extended warranty and since the customer was angry the set was "exchanged" for a brand new set and the old one was disposed of.
Screeen color is green
This fault is called one color predominant screen. The cause might be to its video output card itself. There will be some loose solder terminals around the Green video output transistor. Check this card for any loose solder terminals. Just re-solder all the suspected solder terminals by applying a little more solder, without making any solder bridge short in between adjacent solder terminals. This card can be located at the neck of the picture tube [a rectangular board], will be directly plugged on to the back of the picture tube.
