Why do I have a picture but no sound after unplugging and then replugging cable to tv?

Unplugged cable cable from tv to check another tv and when I hooked back up th 19011 I had picture but no sound which I had before I unplugged cable. Mute is not on and to check this tv I moved it to another spot where I had cable with same result.

Check whether volume is set to Zero. If it is found OK, Check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.

When I turn on the set the sound comes on with the light up logo on the bottom but no picture. unplugged waited.still nothing. so what do we replace? main board,Tcon board?Thank you

well it depends on your set up. If you have a TV box (like from dish or cable company) make sure all cables are connected correctly and tightly. (you may want to unplug them and replug them in just to be sure. also if you have a TV box then unplug that and replug in.

I would check the fuse on the main board. Check the Capacitors on the Power Supply board. Seeing that you unplugged it and replugged it in you might have bad caps that were weak to begin with. Please learn how to safely work on a TV before attempting . Even when a tv is unplugged it has enough power to kill you. Discharge all Capacitors first. make sure its unplugged of course.
