The Partition is incorrect. If you can get a program like Power Suite, a Utility program..., you need to repartition the drive and reformat it using FAT32.
right click ny computer click manage than go to disk management and click you ubs and delete the partition of you usb and repartition it.
waring do not do any than to local disk (C:) in the partition
You will need to use patitioning software to creat a partition and format it. Windows XP does have partitioning software, go to administrative tools and then disk management. If this doesn't work, you'll need partitioning software
If the Sandisk 1 gb has 233 mb after formatting, then the card is usually bad and must be replaced.
Try doing a complete formatting again.
If that does not work, delete partition and try doing formatting with a tool like the one below. If the software below does not fix the problem, then replace the card.
Use any linux bootable distro, like puppy (100 MB ) Slax ( 200 MB) or ubuntu to make a live boot, or use any pc which has linux installed can format your USB to its full capacity.
The card I have always been using is now also suddenly giving this
message. I found an old SanDisk 16MB and a 1GB SanDisk that works
perfectly in my Boss 864 and they also give the same message. Trying to
go into formatting brings the message "no card!"
