On a web-server, code '403' means "forbidden", i.e., you are not allowed to download that specific file from that specific web-site. Does the web-site require you to "login" before downloading?

The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that the HTTP data stream sent by your Web browser was correct, but access to the resource identified by the URL is forbidden for some reason. This can occur mainly that software might require a username and password to be entered in order to download it.

Why is my IE not keeping my homepage?

A web server may return a 403 Forbidden HTTP status code in response to a request from a client for a web page or resource to indicate that the server can be reached and understood the request, but refuses to take any further action.

Windows Internet Explorer Errors on this webpage may cause it to work incorrectly

Internet Explorer users may experience frustration when the Internet browser displays an error code, especially if the error causes them to lose work or data.
However, many error codes can give insight into why the problem occurred and how it can be prevented it in the future.
Errors
Internet Explorer may display HTTP status code errors if it cannot display the webpage.
There are five classes of status codes that begin with the numbers 1 through 5. Each status code consists of three digits. 4xx describes client (user) errors.
4xx error codes include:
400 Bad File Request denotes inccorect web address syntax such as improper punctuation or capitalization.
401 Unauthorized denotes incorrect credentials (username and password). Users can attempt to access the page with different credentials.
403 Forbidden/Access Denied occurs when the server blocks access. The website owner may have instructed the server to block access to specific files or directories.
404 File Not Found denotes a missing webpage/file. This occurs when another site uses an incorrect link or the user incorrectly enters the website URL. Double check the address.
408 Request Timeout denotes that the the user or
user's computer stopped the request before the server could complete it.
According to Marc Liron, whom Microsoft has award the Most
Valuable Professional (MVP) award for his technical knowledge and community support, the 408 error can occur because the "user will either hit the stop button, close the browser, or click on a link before the page loads." Refresh the page to correct the issue.
5xx Errors b> Unlike 4xx status codes, 5xx status codes describe errors caused by the server that houses the webpage or file the user wants to access.

5xx errors include:

500 Internal Error denotes a server configuration issue. The error page may instruct the user to contact the website administrator and may provide a contact e-mail as well as additional information about the error.

501 Not Implemented denotes the server's inability to perform the request.

503 Service Unavailable denotes a temporary server status. The server may be overloaded or down for maintenance. Other Errors b> Internet Explorer may display a prompt that alerts the user of a javascript error or display a small triangle with an exclamation point (!) in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.

According to the UpdateXP website, Internet Explorer may display a "52 Runtime Error." http://www.updatexp.com/internet-explorer-error-messages.html This occurs because a javascript cannot find a file it requires. http://www.mediacollege.com/internet/javascript/basic/error.html You may be able to solve this issue by clearing your Internet cache.
Javascripts may also experience syntax errors when the website developed has made a mistake when writing the javascript. Website visitors typically cannot fix syntax errors because the website owner must edit the javascript. However, you can look for a way to contact the website owner to alert him or her of the issue.

P.exe

Hi,
P.exe is identified by most Antivirus firms as a trojan/malware which tries to download a malicious file. It has moderate to low damage potential.

You can try and remove this file by downloading Antivir removal tool from: http://www.avira.com/en/support/antivir_removal_tool.html

Also, you can try to scan with Windows Malicious Software Removal tool, download it from: http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.aspx

Also, keep your AV softwares always updated.

Hope this solves your problem. Thanks.

DI-524 status led not blinking

Here are the instructions

  1. Make sure that you have a copy of the latest firmware and it has an *.exe file with it. Because the router's configuration page won't be available, you'll be needing the exe to some sort of force the firmware upgrade procedure.
  2. Unplug everything attached to your router except the power cable and LAN cable connected to your pc.
  3. Configure your TCP/IP with this info: IP:192.168.123.253, Default mask:255.255.255.0, Default Gateway:192.168.123.254 and DNS Server:192.168.123.254 (Use only 1 DNS server). Save this new configuration and reboot your pc.
  4. Unplug the power cable to your router as the pc reboots. When everything is up and running, plug the power cable. The status led will be flashing like crazy. It's normal.
  5. Use the exe file to upgrade your firmware. Make sure that the utility file (exe file) is able to recognize your router or else you won't be able to do a firmware upgrade. Now this may take a while, keep pressing the Refresh button to recognize your router. Once recognized you would see there 192.168.0.1 crash. Once you have this, you can now press the upgrade button.
  6. Wait for a while until the unit finishes the upgrade and once done, I think you have recovered the life of your router from the pits of hell. Hahahaha.
  7. You can now unplug the power of the router and restart your pc, see if everything is doing fine.
Hope this helps.
